"Funeral service for Adolph Gruning, 90, of Graw Road, Whitesville, who died last Wednesday in Paul Kimball Hospital, was held Saturday from the home of his son, Paul, with whom he lived. The Rev Werner Eberbach, pastor of the Lutheran Church, Lakewood, officiated. Burial was made in the Holmanville Cemetery by CHT Clayton and Son, Adelphia.
Besides the son, Mr Gruning is survived by a daughter, Mrs Hattie Kaufman, Collingswood".
