Born May 22, 1915, in Belton, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Fred and Miriam Fowler Copeland. She was a retired employee of Equinox Mill and was a member of Duncan Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Nettie R. Kinley of Spartanburg and Wilma Stuart of Killeen, TX; eight grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Ellen Eustace and Linda Gail Beaty; one sister, Nettie Breazeale; and three brothers, A.F. Copeland, Jr., Billy Copeland, and Richard Copeland.
