A Private William Alexander appears on a Marine Muster report on Oct 1811 at Navy Yard, Gosport Virginia. Enlistment Date: 21 Mar 1810. By 1813 he is in New Orleans. In Jan 1825 on board the U.S. Ship Mc Adams. Also on the U.S. Ship John Adams and in the West Indies. On Mar 1825 he appears on the Muster Report as on board the U.S. Ship Decoy.
