Harvey W. Theel, 80, of 13129 Louis Corners Rd., Kiel died Friday evening March 31, 2000, at Calumet Homestead and Rehab, center where he was a resident for the past month.
He was born October 19, 1919, son of the late John and Lillian Markwardt Theel. Harvey attended Kiel schools, class of 1937.

On July 24, 1942 he married the former Roma Klemme at Salem Evangelical Church, Plymouth. Harvey lived and worked on the home farm much of his life.
He was a member of Unity Christian Fellowship Church in Sheboygan. He also volunteered and was involved with Union Cemetery in Louis Corners. Harvey also enjoyed polka dancing with his wife, Roma.

Survivors include his wife Roam; four sons, John and Joan Theel of Rio, WI, Gerald and Kathleen Theel of Louis Corners, Edward and Ruth Theel of Chilton and Earl Theel of Louis corners; eight grandchildren. He is further survived by three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Ernest and two brothers, Eldon and Elroy.

Funeral services will be held at the Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, Kiel on Monday April 3, 2000 at 7:00 p.m., with the Rev. Raymond C. Coombs officiating. Friends may call at the Funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
