Henderson Green was the son of John and Orpha Slaton Green. He was married first to Mary Jane Clark and they had ten children. Louisa, William, Orpha, Thomas, Mary, Susan, James, Nancy, Peter, and George. He married Georgia Ann Oder on December 24, 1874 in Lincoln County Kentucky. They had six children: Clarence, John, Morris, Houston, Arthur and Terrill. He married Fannie Martin on October 10, 1885 in Rockcastle County Kentucky and they had three children. Hallie, Martin, and Henry. Alltogether, Henderson had a total of nineeen children. ( 13 boys and 6 girls.) He was an elder of the Leavell Green Church, when it was formed October 1, 1892.

Mary J. Green, born March 20, 1857 in Rockcastle County Ky. She married George Woolwine in Garrard County Kentucky on Dec. 5, 1856. No record after 1880 census.
