COLUMBIA - Mrs. Mary King McMillan, 77, of 3123 Amherst Ave., widow of former Chief Highway Commissioner Claude R. McMillan, died Monday at her home.
Born in [present day] Dillon County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph W. and Capitola Holliday King. She was a graduate of Coker College and a member of the Coker College Alumnae Association and Shandon Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Harry K. McMillan and Claude R. McMillan, Jr. of Columbia; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Shandon Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. E. C. Brown. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
