Mildred I. Nelson

Mildred I. Nelson, 70, of Thompson Gardens, Waynesburg, died Wednesday, August 21, 1991, in the Franklin Health Care Center, Waynesburg.

She was born September 8, 1920, in Wadestown, W. Va., a daughter of George and Martha Ellen King Delaney.

Mrs. Nelson resided most of her life in Greene County.
She was a homemaker and had worked for 39 years at Greene County Memorial Hospital.

She attended the First Christian Church of Waynesburg.

On February 4, 1983, she married Walter Nelson, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Judy Logan of Waynesburg, RD 5; three step-children, Robert Nelson of Spraggs, William Nelson of Carlisle and Martha Tennant of Metz, W. Va.; two sisters, Edna Blair of Waynesburg and Edith Zimmer of Detroit, Mich.; two brothers, Hiram and LeRoy Delaney, both of Waynesburg; two grandsons; seven step-grandchildren; and 11 step-great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a sister and three brothers.
