She was born about 1580 in Schwaigern, Heilbronn, Duchy of Wurttemberg, Holy Roman Empire (German) (now Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany). She died there either 10 July 1635 or 19 April 1637, and was buried in the churchyard of (known then as) St. Anna & St. John the Baptized Church in Schwaigern. Anna was widow of Michael Bickel and her maiden name is unknown. She married Georg Willheit on 3 April 1605 at Schwaigern. They were parents of five known children: Anna (died an infant), Anna, Margaretha, Johann Georg, and Martinus. (Children believed in birth order.)

After Georg Willheit died in 1623, she married Hans Evermann 12 January 1625. On 10 July 1635, Anna, the widow of "old Hans Ebermann the butcher," was buried in Schwaigern. Then on 19 April 1637, Anna, the widow of young Hans Eberman, the butcher, died. It is impossible to determine from the parish registers which entry refers to the widow of Georg Willheit.

Some say Anna and Michael Bickel had three children: Barbara, Maria and Michael. Christening records have been found, and if children of this Anna and Michael Bickel it is not known. It is also not known if Anna was mother of any children by her third husband. Children were found with parents Anna and Hans, but is it this Anna.

Data provided per records located by a late Bumgardner cousin during visits to Schwaigern and my research.
