She was born May 29, 1929, in Brave, a daughter of the late Louis "Smokie" Swan and Mabel Cumberledge Swan.
She was married to Mickey Bruno, who died March 15, 2004.
Mrs. Bruno was a homemaker and resided most of her life in Waynesburg. She worked part-time in the family clothing store.
She was affiliated with the Methodist church.
She enjoyed cooking for family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved her dogs.
Surviving are two sons, John Bruno (Karen) of Waynesburg and Kerry Bruno (April) of Waynesburg; two daughters, Angela Suarez (Steven) of Dormont and Vickie Bruno of Waynesburg; six grandchildren, David Baker, Michael Bruno, Meaghan Novakovich, Nicholas Suarez, Louis Suarez and Valentina Bruno; a brother, Bill Swan of East Liverpool, Ohio; and a half sister, Dottie Lou Tubbs of Nashville, Tenn.
Deceased are two brothers, Jack Swan and Charles Swan.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High Street, Waynesburg, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, with the Rev.
