Passed away at peace on December 1, 2005, after a 1-1/2 year journey with lymphoma at age 61.
She was surrounded by the love and strength of her family and hundreds of friends.
Chris left her corporate career at its peak and became an unwavering champion for justice in the world, particularly racial and economic equality.
She now walks in beauty, in a place with no injustice.
Chris is survived by her only granddaughter Corrie, the light of her life; her two daughters, Niki and Dina; son-in-law John; two brothers and five sisters; and many other family members.
Family services will be held in January, and a celebration of her life is being planned for the Spring at King's Beach, one of the many communities she served.
