Mrs. Albert (Emelie) Zimmermann, 94, of Rt. 1, Reedsville, died Wednesday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John and St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Reedsville. The Rev. Harlyn Kuschel will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Zimmermann, nee Emelie Maertz, was born Mar. 20, 1879, in the Town of Holland, Brown County, daughter of the late Carl and Wilhelmina Beyersdorf Maertz. She was married to Albert Zimmermann May 4, 1899. Her husband preceded her in death. She was a member of the Ladies Aid Society of St. John and St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three sons, Leonard, of Oak Lawn, Ill., Raymond, of Manitowc and Albert, of Rt. 1, Reedsville; three daughters, Mrs. Norbert (Frieda) Braun, of Rt. 1 Green Bay, and Mrs. Harry (Ann) Ziarnik and Mrs. Arnold (Clara) Rappel, of Manitowoc; a brother, Edwin Maertz of Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs. Tony (Della) Kortas, of Manitowoc; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Two children preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Reedsville Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Friday until 10:30 a.m. Saturday and then at the church until the time of service.
