Louis Campbell, 52 New Baltimore, Mich., formerly of Kansas City, died Saturday at a hospital in Mount Clements, Mich. He was born in Overland Park and had lived in Kansas City before moving to Michigan more than 30 years ago. Mr. Campbell owned and operated the Blue Water Medical Supply Co. in New Baltimore. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, New Baltimore. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mabel Campbell of the house; a son, Louis Campbell Jr., and a daughter, Mrs. Laura Schultz, both of New Baltimore; his father Robert Campbell, Overland Park; three brothers, Robert Campbell, Gravois Mills, Mo., Thomas Campbell, Shawnee, and Alfred Campbell, Oklahoma City; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Rodgers, Overland Park, Mrs. Roberta Mills, Kansas City, and Mrs. Elmora Thies, Prairie Village; and three grandchildren. Services will be at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Gendernalik & Sebold Chapel, New Baltimore; burial in the church cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the Cardinal Mooney High School, Mount Clemens, or the American Heart Association.

NEW BALTIMORE - Louis E. Campbell Sr., 52, of New Baltimore, died Saturday at St. Joseph Hospital East in Mount Clemens. He was a 34-year resident of the community, owned the Blue Water Medical Supply Inc., and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW Post 7573, New Baltimore Civic Club and retired from the New Baltimore Fire Department after 28 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel; a son, Louis Jr. of New Baltimore; a daughter, Mrs. Laura Schultz of New Baltimore; his father, Robert of Kansas; brothers, Robert and Thomas of Kansas and Alfred of Oklahoma; sisters, Mrs. Mary Rodgers, Mrs. Roberta Mills and Mrs. Elmora Thies, all of Kansas; and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Gendernalik and Sebold Funeral Home, 35600 Main Street, New Baltimore; and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Queen of Catholic Church in New Baltimore. A rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. The Rev. Douglas Terrien will officiate. Burial will be St. Mary's Cemetery, New Baltimore.
