Mary Lois (Campbell) Rogers, 95 of Olathe, KS passed away January 18, 2021 at Nottingham Health and Rehabilitation in Olathe, KS. There she was cared for by a great team specializing in dementia care as well as the amazing team of Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care.

Mary was born July 8, 1925 at the home of her parents, Robert Emmett Campbell and Mary (Breyfogle) Campbell at 86th and Metcalf in Overland Park, KS. She is proceeded in death by her parents, her sisters, Morie Ann Thies, Hilma Marie Campbell, and Roberta Robb Mills, brothers, Alfred B. Campbell, Louis E. Campbell, Robert B. Campbell, and Thomas L. Campbell and her longtime friend and companion Leroy N. Miller.

Mary graduated from Shawnee Mission Rural High School, in 1943. Mary worked as a secretary at Bendix Allied Signal for over 30 years from where she retired in March 1988. She was a member of OES, The Order of Eastern Star and the Dwight Cowles American Legion Auxiliary Post #370. She served as a mother advisor for The Rainbow Girls of Overland Park for 10 years. After her retirement, she enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. Some of her favorite places to visit were Europe, Colorado and Michigan. She also enjoyed her Saturday morning ‘coffees’ with her family and friends, a long-standing tradition.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Kimler (Ken), Paola, KS; grandchildren, Jada Close (David), Lenexa, KS; Curtis Murdock (DeeDee), Paola, KS and Mike Kimler (Dana), Paola, KS; seven great-grandchildren who were the light of her life, Nathan, Taylor, Alexa, Kale, Shayne, Shawna and Landon; brother-in-law, Wayne Thies, Prairie Village, KS; sister-in-law, Mabel Campbell, New Baltimore, MI and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Overland Park, KS. A celebration of life to be held at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions to Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care.
