MRS. ANNIE REBECCA (PENTZ) MOATS, aged 77years, Blue Bock, widow of Harvey B. Moats, died this morning at 12:30 o'clock at her home.
She had been in failing health for the last three years and for the last four months bad been critically ill and confined to bed.
Mrs. Moats was born on Route l, the daughter of Daniel and Hettie (Kauffman ) Pentz. She lived her entire life in the Blue Bock section. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her husband died in January, 1937.
Surviving are these sons and daughters: Mrs. Bert Miller, Wayne Moats, both of Waynesboro; Mrs. Sidney O. Reid, Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. Mark Sheeley of Hershey; Mrs. Mahlon Bonner, Quincy; Mrs. Gilson Shockey, Waynesboro; Mrs. Earl Funk, at home; 30 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; two brothers and two sisters, Harvey A. Pentz, Route 4; Scott Pentz, Mrs. Charles Miller, Sr., and Mrs. Andrew Rosenberger, all of Route 1.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, from the home, with services at 2:30 p.m. at the Church of Latter Day Saints, Fairview, in charge of Bishop Harvey Stoops. Burial will be made in Quincy Cemetery.
Friends may call at the home from 7 until 9 p.m. Sunday.
