MRS. MARY ELIZABETH MILLER, 85, of Tomstown, Waynesboro Route 1, died at 2:15 p.m. yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Claude Harbaugh, with whom she had made her home for the past 14 years following the death of her husband, Charles Wilson Miller.
She had been ill and was confined to her bed since April.
She was born near Tomstown, the daughter of Daniel and Hettie (Smith) Pentz and lived her entire life in the Tomstown and Fairview vicinities.
She is survived by the following children: Benjamin H. Miller, Sr., Mrs. Howard Saylor, Mrs. Merle Bonner, Harry E. Miller, Mrs. Claude M. Harbaugh and Mrs. Max Potter, all of Waynesboro Route 1; 22 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, three brothers and a sister, Charles Pentz of Ogden, Utah, Harvey Pentz, Mrs. Eliza Rosenberger and Scott Pentz, all of Waynesboro Route 1.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday from the Grove Funeral Home in charge of Rev. I. C. Weidner and Rev. Harry Barnes. Burial will follow in Burns Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 o'cock Saturday evening.
