She was born June 26, 1921, in Imboden, VA to the late Sally Rutherford Collins and Tom Collins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde W. Rouse, a daughter, Nancy Rouse Dishman, sisters, Elsie Bush, Ellen Betty Gwyn, Bonnie Karnes, and her brothers, Jay Collins, Ted Collins, and Bob Collins.
She was a former member of Grace Baptist Church for many years and was a member of Euclid Avenue Baptist Church. Until ill health, she was involved in many activities of the church and taught Sunday school for many years.

Daughter: Ruth Moretz and husband Lester of Bristol, TN
Son: Andy C. Rouse and wife Brenda of Bristol, VA
Grandsons: Randy Rouse and wife Tammy of Bristol, VA and Steve C. Wagner and wife Maria of Bluff City, TN
Step Granddaughters: Vickie M. Kinder and Terry Moretz

Sisters: Fran C. Tomlinson of High Point, NC and June Repatti of Copeland, Idaho

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 12, 2011 from the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Jones and Rev. Dennis Burnette officiating.
The committal service and entombment will follow in the Mountain View Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be Steve Wagner, Randy Rouse, Chris Rouse, Brian Rouse, Skyler Rouse, Derek Wagner, and Jack Linder. Honorary pallbearer will be Lester Moretz. The family will receive friends from 1-3 on Sunday at Weaver Funeral Home prior to the funeral service.
The family would like to thank the staff of Wellmont Hospice for their love and kindness during this difficult time. A special thanks to Ida Hopkins, a very special friend, neighbor and caregiver. Also a special thanks to Barbara Powers for her love and friendship.
