Town of Two Creeks Woman Dies After Long Illness
TWO RIVERS (Special)-- Mrs. Fred Strutz, 56, of the town of Two Creeks, died at her home early this morning after having been ill for five years.
Mrs. Strutz, nee Wilhelmina Gierke, was born in the town of Two Creeks May 27, 1880. Most of her life was spent in that vicinity and on Sept. 19, 1906 she was married to Fred Strutz.
She is survived by the widower; one daughter, Mrs. Harold Taylor; two sons, Wallace and Frederick at home; one sister, Mrs. Fred Messman and two brothers, John Gierke of this city and Charles Gierke of Winnebago, Ill.
The body may be viewed at the Klein and Stangel chapel after 7 clock this evening and until tomorrow afternoon. Funeral services will be held from the home at 1:30 p.m. Monday and from the St. John's Lutheran church at Two Creeks at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Pioneer's Rest cemetery.
