Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 28 at Hill Crest Cemetery in Holly Springs. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves her companion, Roy Grant Carter of Byhalia; four daughters, Charlotte Nairmoore, Angie Mims, both of Horton, Ala., Margie Ford of Stayton, Ore., Shirley Coleman of Byhalia; a brother, William Akins of Holly Springs; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
