Nobility. Queen of Hungary and Duchess of Carinthia. The oldest daughter of Heinrich "Jasomirgott" of Austria and his second wife Theodora was married to Istvan III of Hungary in 1168. The marriage stayed childless and Istvan died from poison six years later. In 1173 she married Hermann II of Carinthia and bore him two sons. Agnes survived Hermann by three months and was buried in the Schottenkloster which had been founded by her father.
