Gary R. Jennings, 61LEOMINSTER/LANCASTER - Gary R. Jennings, 61, of 48 Mount Pleasant Ave., Leominster, formerly of Lancaster, died Sunday, April 6, 2014 in Leominster Hospital, following an illness.
He is survived by a son, Ryan J. Jennings and a daughter, Kristy N. Jennings; two brothers: Gregory and his wife, Karen Jennings of Biddeford, ME, Glen Jennings and his friend, Karen Jennings of Athol; and a sister, Gayle Jennings-Poitras and her husband, Steven, of Leominster; an Aunt, Dorice Charon, Uncles Bill and Dave Hatstat; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Gary was born in Clinton, son of the late Richard and Frances L. "Wink" (Hatstat) Jennings, and was raised in Lancaster. He was a graduate of Nashoba Regional High School. Gary was an automobile mechanic, working at the family-owned Jennings Garage, formerly in Clinton, and later at various Worcester area auto garages.
He enjoyed baseball and watching the Red Sox; golfing, fishing, and the outdoors.
Gary's funeral will take place on Thursday, April 10, 2014 with a service at 11:00 a.m. in the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., Clinton.
Burial will follow in Eastwood Cemetery, Lancaster.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour from 10:00 – 11:00 am, prior to the funeral service.
