Inscribed by THOMAS MAXWELL and his wife MARY LINDSAY in memory of their son JAMES RAMSAY who died on the 23rd July 1858 aged 5 years; also of their son WILLIAM LINDSAY who died on the 28th July 1858 aged 3 years; and of their daughter MARGARET who died 24th August 1858 aged 16 years; also to the memory of his Mother MARJORY PETRIE who died on the 20th August 1847 in the 56th year of her age; and of his Father THOMAS MAXWELL who died on the 26th September 1858 in the 72nd year of his age - "All Of Whom Are Interred Below This Stone"
