Musician. Born Charles Roberts in Virginia, he was a professional tenor banjo and guitar player whom led the popular group The Banjo Kings. During the 1930s, he played on Walt Disney cartoons and appeared in the movie "Banjo On My Knee" (1936). He died in Los Angeles, California.
