Mrs. Joan Bennett, 40, of 1400-20th St., Two Rivers, died Monday morning at Bellin Memorial Hospital, Green Bay. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, and 10 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers, the Rev. Earl Brouchoud officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Bennet, nee Joan Dupuis, was born Feb. 6, 1931, at Two Rivers, daughter of Mrs. Katherine Courchaine Dupuis Lee and the late Oliver Dupuis. She attended St. Luke Parochial School and Washington High School, from where she graduated in 1949. Mrs. Bennett was employed at Mirro Aluminum Co. for a number of years. She married Kermit Bennett Sept. 25, 1955, at Manitowoc.
Besides her mother and husband, she is survived by her son, Kevin Michael, at home; a brother, Mark Dupuis of Whittier, Calif., and four sister (sic), Mrs. Bernard Simono, of Two Rivers, Mrs. Robert Lee and Mrs. Robert Deering of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Robert Wellsfry of Oshkosh.
Friends may call at the funeral chapels after 3 p.m. Tuesday. A memorial service will be at 8 p.m.
