CLODFELTER, LOREN

Age 87 of Flushing, MI passed away April 11, 2014 in Grand Blanc. His family will honor his wish and he will be cremated. A private service will be held. Loren was joined in marriage to Rosemary E. Boyer Sept. 22, 1945 and she preceded him in death April 20, 1999. Loren lived his entire adult life in Flushing, working for GM as a tool and die maker. He received numerous awards for his various innovative suggestions and retired February 1, 1986. Loren was a WWII veteran with the U.S. Navy. As a youth he was an outstanding high school athlete. A family man who loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren, he also enjoyed playing pool, fixing cars, motorcycles and traveling. Loren was loved by his family and will
be greatly missed. He is survived by his children, Mike
(Pat) Clodfelter, Joan (Michael) Magnotta, grandchildren, Laurie (Mark) Erlenbeck, Amy (J.T.) Nicholas, Andrea (Andrew) Granger, great grandchildren, Riley, Nick and Abby Erlenbeck, Lily, Evie and Johnny Nicholas and Gavin Granger due in August, brother Robert (Joan) Clodfelter and many nieces and nephews. Loren was preceded in death by his parents, wife Rosemary and three brothers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Old News Boys 6255 Taylor Dr. Flint, MI 48507.
