He passed away in battle honoring his family name and Our American Ideals. He left this world Fighting in Action like a True Marine, A Hero to his family, and an icon to many Americans who appreciate his bravery during a time of War.

Samuel was born on September 4, 1985 in San Benito, Texas. He graduated from San Benito High School in 2004 and was a member of the school Choir for 3 years. On September 12, 2004 he was inducted into the United States Marine Corps. Throuhout his life, he was a Member of St. Theresa Catholic
Church.
He Wanted to be a Marine since he was little. That was his dream. He wanted to be a Hero. We have lost a Great American, whose short life truly made a impact. He died a True United States Marine, honoring his family and the people of the United States of America.
He is survived by his lovely caring wife, Jacqueline Tapia, his beautiful 1 year old daughter, Samatha Tapia,
Parents Federico and Nazaria Sanchez, brother Jose Angel Sanchez, sister Elizabeth Lara all of San Benito. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Maria Lara, and Paternal Grandmother Enedina Guerrero.
His Funeral Services were Held Dec 26, 2005 at St. Theresa Catholic Church. A Bugler played Taps, a Marine color guard shot off a 21-gun Salute. He will always be Remembered a Hero.
