Marie Watts 88, a longtime resident of St. Anthony, Passed away April 17, 2014 at Arco.

Marie was born Oct. 24, 1925 at Rexburg, Idaho the daughter of Moses Ariel Watts and Edna Elnora Byrne Watts. She grew up in Rexburg where she received her schooling. She also attended Idaho State University where she received her teaching degree. She taught school in Fremont Co. for 40 years. She also attended the Chicago Institute of Arts. She enjoyed painting and was a member of the St. Anthony Art Guild. She also taught art at the reform school. She enjoyed camping at Mesa Falls and the Tetons.

Marie never married. She is survived by nieces and nephews Burt Bates, St. Anthony, Robert (Dona) Bates, Idaho Falls, ID.; Lorele Beverland, Arco, ID.; Shelby (Nori) Pead, St. Anthony, ID.; DeeDee (Donald) Winegar, Parker, ID.; Cassey Pead, St. Anthony, ID.; and numerous Great nieces and nephews. Also one brother Boyd Watts, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m in the Rexburg Cemetery under the direction of the Bidwell Funeral Home. condolences may be sent to www.bidwellfuneralhome.com
