Mrs. Michael Plotka, 78, of 1317 S. 17th St., Manitowoc, died Monday morning at the home following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Leschke and Bergner Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John Landowski will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
The former Gustie Sitkiewicz was born March 13, 1880, at Newton, daughter of the late Felix and Mary Siudzinski Sitklewicz. She was married to Michael Plotka Nov. 10, 1903, at Northeim. Mrs. Plotka was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society of St. Mary Church.
Survivors include the husband, a son, Charles of Manitowoc; a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Emily) Sheraski of Manitowoc; four brothers, John and Joseph of Manitowoc, Louis of Thiensville, and George of Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs. Susan Karbowski of Green Bay, and three grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday where the Rosary will be recited at 2:15 p.m. by the Rosary Society and at 7 p.m.
