Henry Pozorski, 75, of 1421 S. 24th St., Manitowoc, died Friday morning, February 23, 1990, at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. Rev. Roman Zbieranski OFM presiding at the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in St. Mary Church Cemetery.

He was born September 28, 1914, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, son of the late Xavier and Ella Poklinskowski Pozorski. He married Dolores Karl, July 12, 1947, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mr. Pozorski was employed at Mirro Aluminum for 49 years, retiring as General Manager of Distribution in 1979. Mr. Pozorski enlisted in the Air Force in January of 1942. He served for three years with the Eighth Air Force in European Theatre of Operations and was honorably discharged in October of 1945. Mr. Pozorski was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He was active in the St. Mary Catholic Church Ministry as an Usher and Pallbearer for many years. Mr. Pozorski was a charter member of St. Mary's Mens Club. He was a member of Manitowoc Elks Lodge 687.

Survivors include his wife, Dolores of Manitowoc; two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Nancy of Boone, North Carolina, Thomas and Linda of Green Bay; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Frances Lusina of Manitowoc, Ella Cichantek of Manitowoc, Emily and George Wheeler of Manitowoc, Alice and Larry Polley of Washington; five grandchildren, Aimee, Rachel, Jon, Briana and Sara. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Peter, John, Frank, Stanley and Alois, fur sisters, Anna, Rose, Mary and Julia.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m. by Father Roman.
