Born in Greenfield Iowa, met Eloise in Elbert Colorado in 1926 where they lived until 1933. At that time they relocated to Burns, west of Egnar Colorado living there until moving into Dove Creek in 1941. Clyde was a pinto bean farmer and also active in the Uranium business. The Deremo Shaft was built on his property near the Colorado-Utah state line.
