He graduated from Fair Play High School in 1946, and joined and served in the U.S. Navy.
He married Violet Jean Stroud March 5, 1950.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald and Roger; two sisters, Carol Vinoya and Marvella Golden; and many nieces and nephews.
Services are under the direction of Charter Funerals, 5000 Blue Ridge Cutoff, Kansas City, Mo. 64133.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, April 3 followed by funeral services at 7 p.m. Thursday at Charter Funerals, 5000 Blue Ridge Cut Off. Burial will be Friday at Shady Grove Cemetery, south of Fair Play, Mo.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Missouri Department of Conservation.
