Girard, Jacob, Jr., died Oct. 4, 1917, at Chicago, of pneumonia, at the age of 14 years. The remains were brought to this city and funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today at the residence, 1157 North Eight street, and at 3:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic church, Rev. Father O'Reilly officiating. Interment in Calvary.
Surviving are his father, Jacob Girard; two sisters, Eva and Anna, and one brother, Clements.
