LEROY C. STEVENSON, 67, of 311 East Ave., East Syracuse, died yesterday in St. Mary’s Hospital after a brief illness.
A 42-year resident of East Syracuse, Mr. Stevenson was a railway conductor for the New York Central 47 years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of East Syracuse; Sherman Lodge 143, Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen; and Division 40, Order of Railway Conductors.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bessy Sabine Stevenson; a daughter, Mrs. Lyndon Fuller of Rome; three sons, Clinton, Leonard and Lawrence Stevenson; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in First Presbyterian Church, the Rev. William C. Langston officiating. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
