Clinton P. Stevenson, 68, of 24 Parkwood Drive, East Syracuse, died Sunday at his home.
Mr. Stevenson was a life resident of East Syracuse. He retired in 1982 as a conductor after 41 years with Conrail, formerly New York Central Railroad.
Mr. Stevenson was an Army veteran of World War II. He served with the 82nd and 101st Airborne Division and participated in the Normandy invasion, Battle of the Bulge and was awarded the Bronze Star. He was a member of Simon Parise Post 9596, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Arthur Butler Post 359, American Legion.
Surviving are his wife, Betty A.; three sons, Keith and Thomas, both of Syracuse, and Paul of East Syracuse; two daughters, Pamela Miller of Judsonia, Ark. and Catherine Wieczorek of Bridgeport; two brothers, Lawrence and Leonard, both of East Syracuse; a sister, Doris Fuller of Rome; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
There are no calling hours.
