Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church for Frank D. Zuraski, 82, a resident of N1560 M-35, Menominee, Mi. He passed away on Friday, May 26 at Rivers Edge Adult Care Home in Wallace, Mi.
Fr. Joseph Vandannoor officiated and burial was in Birch Creek Cemetery.

The son of the late Michael and Mary (Bysdraski) Zuraski was born on May 8, 1924 in Marinette.

He married the former Emma Christophersen on March 17, 1947 in Kenosha.

He served in the United States Army during World War II.
A member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church he was self employed all his life, he owned and operated Zuraski’s Trucking and Excavating and later worked for over 27 years as a private contractor for Michigan Bell Telephone Company, retiring in 2000.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years; a daughter, Mrs. Audi (Sandra) Szornyi of Beverly Hills, Fla.;
five sons: Francis (Veronica) Zuraski, James (Royel) Zuraski and Patrick Zuraski, all of Menominee, Mi; Gerald (Linda) Zuraski of Tyngsboro, Mass. and Jeff (Lynda) Zuraski of Saginaw, Mi.;
16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren;
three sisters: Mary Tenarvitz of Menominee, MI; Mrs. Russell (Helen) Christophersen of Wallace, MI and Cecelia Kutz of Arizona and a brother, John (Carole) of Menominee, MI.

Along with his parents, an infant daughter, Lynne Marie, two sisters, Catherine and Ann and a brother, Stanley, preceded him in death.
