Mary L. Tenarvitz, 97, of Menominee, Mich., passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Atrium Post Acute Care of Menominee, MI. Mary was born June 5, 1922 in Peshtigo, Wis. to the late Michael and Mary (Bystrawski) Zuraski.
On July 17, 1948 Mary married Raymond Tenarvitz at Sacred Heart Parrish in Marinette, Wis. He preceded her in death on Aug. 1, 2000.
Mary was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Birch Creek. She enjoyed gardening, doing yard work and being outside. She greatly enjoyed being around her family and was very family orientated and made sure they knew she loved them.
Mary is survived by her daughter Ann Everson of Appleton, Wis.;
her son Steve Tenarvitz of Menominee, MI;
her brother John (Carole) Zuraski of Menominee, MI;
and two grandchildren: Jason (Nancy) Everson and Nick (Jessi Schulz) Everson;
two great-grandchildren: Liam and Mary.
She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband; four infant babies at birth; four sisters; and two brothers.
Visitation for Mary will be Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church beginning at 9:30 a.m. until time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. with Fr. Michael Ocran officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery Menominee.
