Mrs. Jeptha Baker died Thursday afternoon at 6:30 o'clock at her home in South Warsaw after an illness of many months. Barbara Utter was born in Warsaw August 2, 1833 and had always lived here. Her first husband was Frank Day, who died 28 years ago. Twenty-five years ago she was married to Jeptha Baker and his death occurred in May, 1896. Surviving are three children, Mrs. Marion Wilcox, John Day and Mrs. Frank Wickwire of Warsaw. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at her home. Rev. Joseph Clark, pastor of the North Gainesville Methodist Church, officiating. The burial was in Warsaw cemetery.
