Funeral services for Chester O. Rowell will be held Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 3 p.m. at the Ringgold Assembly of God Church in Ringgold, Louisiana. Officiating will be Rev. Martha Griggs. Interment will follow at New Ebenezer Cemetery in Castor, Louisiana. The family will receive friends Wednesday April 30, 2014, from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Ringgold Assembly of God Church in Ringgold, Louisiana.
Chester was born October 12, 1945 in Ringgold, Louisiana and went to be with the Lord April 28, 2014 in Castor, Louisiana.
Waiting on him in heaven is his mother Ola Mae Lafollette, father A.C. Rowell, brother Charles Rowell, daughter Mary Lowery, and grandson Kenneth O'Neal Rushing.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Sandra Rowell of Castor, sons Randall Rushing and Lilly of Castor, son and adopted brother Danny Lafollette and wife Susan of Winnfield, brother Raymond C. Rowell of Elm Grove, one grandchild Chance Ascencio, Jackie and Flora Harvard of Castor, along with all of his nieces, nephews, family and friends that he loved dearly.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Mosley, Phillip Lee, Kolton Collins, Jaybo Collins, Dakota Jordan, and Steve Sullivan. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackie Harvard, Tony "A.J." Brown, Jackie Jordan, and Julius "Bubba" Harper, Jr.
