William H.Brooks Dies at Home in Lodi
William H. Brooks, employed as clerk by the Earl Fruit company in Lodi for the past 28 years, passed away at his home in Lodi Thursday evening. He was a native of California, aged 65 years.
He was a kindly person, quiet and unassuming. He had a host of friends who will be grieved to hear of his passing.
Brooks was the son of Mrs. S.J. Devon of Lodi; brother of Mrs. Myrtle Hudson and Mrs. Flora Blakeslee, Lodi; Mrs. Laura Layman, Oakland; Miss Nettie Devin and J.C. Brooks, Los Angeles.
Funeral services will be held this morning at 10:30 o'clock at the chapel of Hale & Bawden. Interment in Lodi cemetery.
