Major League Baseball Player. He was an outfielder, making his debut with the Chicago Orphans on August 17, 1898. For eight seasons, he played with the Chicago Orphans (1898-1901) and the Chicago White Sox from (1902-05). He died at age 38 from complications due to being hit by a bean ball and ended his career with a record of 1021 hits, 522 runs scored, 29 homeruns, 423 runs batted in and a .293 average.
