Bob Jackson Killed Thursday
Robert Jackson, 80 who farms ten miles southwest of Belgrade was killed Thursday in a tractor accident near the Homer Cook farm east of Wolbach. Mr. Jackson was
pinned beneath the tractor and died before the members of the Belgrade Fire Department, who were called to the scene, could free him .
Mr. Jackson was born January 11, 1887 in Centralia, Illinois to John W. and Minnie Jane (McCollough) Jackson. He was a member of the Fullerton Methodist Church and a resident of Nance County for 50 years. His first wife preceded him in death in 1953.
He is survived by his widow Lydia; two daughters, Mrs. Maurice Cantral of Fullerton and Mrs. Melvin Nesbitt of Belgrade; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Bierley of Junction City, Oregon and Mrs. John Caudle of Los Angeles; two brothers, D. Cleve Jackson of Fullerton and Drew Jackson of Armona, California; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
