Adam Henderson, 65, sterotyper who learned his trade on The Oregonian more than 35 years ago, died suddenly late Thursday at his home, 4120 N.E. 22d avenue. For the past 15 years, Mr. Henderson had worked for the Journal and was on the job Thursday. He left The Oregonian, in 1915, and later became sterotype foremen at the old Telegram, filling that position for many years.

He was born February 13, 1884, in Toronto, Canada, and spent his early youth in Denver, Col. He moved to Portland in his late teens. Surviving are the widow Hattie; daughter Ruth and brother Ralph, all of Portland.

Funeral services will be Monday at 4 p.m. at J. P. Finley & Son's Morninglight chapel, Chaplain John Beard officiating.
