Dottie P. Daschel, 83, of Lockeford, died Thursday at her residence.
She was born July 13, 1914 in Copperopolis. She lived in many places including, Folsom, Citrus Heights, and Nevada City before moving to Lockeford in 1978. She was an active homemaker and worked for eight years at Balls Cannery on the assembly-line worker.
She enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping, cooking, sewing and bingo.
She is survived by three sisters, Norma Normington of Woodbridge, Iola Parsons of Escalon and Jean Conoway of Rancho Cordova; two brothers, Bud Rouse of Folsom, and Kenneth Rouse of Prescott, Ariz.; two sons; one daughter; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
