Mrs. Mathew (Etta) Stinson, 85, a Barnes County pioneer whose parents came from Michigan in 1889, passed away at a local hospital Saturday morning. Her family homesteaded north of Sanborn in the early days.
Mr. Stinson died in 1947. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 o'clock at Oliver's Chapel with Rev. Fritjof Monseth officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
