SAN JOSE, Calif. — Chapman Gillham, 84, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Wayside Community Church in Wayside, Texas, with Steven Gillham officiating. Burial will be in Wayside Cemetery. Arrangements are by Holley Funeral Home Inc. of Canyon, Texas.

Mr. Gillham was born March 25, 1929, in Wayside. He worked as a farmer, truck driver, logger, carpenter, school teacher and mason.

Survivors include eight children, Debra of Anchorage, Alaska, Douglas of Berrien Center, Mich., Dwight of Milliken, Colo., Don of Marshall, Wis., Delinda of Janesville, Wis., Perry of Dowagiac, Mich., Gregory of Rowlette, Texas, and Andrew of San Martin; and 16 grandchildren.
