Madonna (Abel) Kumkoski, 53, 3522 E. Eighth St., corporate secretary for the Towne Shoppe died Wednesday morning at her residence after an extended illness.
The Anderson native had lived all of her life in this community and was a graduate of St. Mary's High School. she was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Catholic Church, Ladies Auxiliary of Knights of Columbus, Lady Elks and Victoria Guild.
Surviving are her husband, William; a son, Mark, at home, three sisters, Rosemary Abel of Anderson, Mrs. John (Magdalene) Taylore of St. Augustine, Fla. and Mrs. Tom (Elenor) Kennedy of Jacksonville, Fla.; three brothers, Eugene Abel of Jacksonville, Fla. Paul abel of Cleveland, Ohio and Ted Abel of Indianapolis; and several neices and nephews.
Services will be Fraiday at St. mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Metzger officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Friends may call at Baker Brothers Funeral Home. Rosary will be said at 7 pm at the funeral home.
