Daniel Branstetter Sr., age 92, of Connersville, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Lincoln Centers East in Connersville, Indiana.

Born July 4, 1917 in Clay County, Kentucky he was the son of the late Henry & Margaret Ellen (Holt) Branstetter. He lived much of his life in Franklin County, Indiana.

Mr. Branstetter was retired from the former Fry Roofing in Brookville where he had worked for many years.

He was united in marriage to the former Rosella Brewer, and she precedes him in death. He was a member of the Plum Grove Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Ellen (Ray) Kersey of Brookville, Indiana, Frances (Joe) Dickey of Connersville, Indiana, Rebecca (Dan) Holland of Metamora, Indiana, Mary Beth (Tom) Riebsomer of Cokedale, Colorado; four sons, Daniel (Judy) Branstetter Jr. of Connersville, Indiana, Hubert (Melba) Branstetter, Charles (Vicky) Branstetter, and Gayle F. Branstetter all of Brookville, Indiana; 23 Grandchildren; as well as many Great-Grandchildren Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters, three brothers, as well as one granddaughter.

Rev. Glen Goins will officiate the Funeral Services on Saturday, March 13, 2010, 10:00 A.M. at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, with burial following in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville, Indiana. Family & friends may visit from 5 till 8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 12, 2010 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville. Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of the donors choice.
