Born Jan. 5, 1899, in Dunfermline to Forrest and Mary Bennard Deushane, she married Thomas Gay on Feb. 23, 1918, in Lewistown. He died Oct. 10, 1980, in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Keith of Peoria and Jack of Clearwater, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Helen) Pruitt of Peoria and Mrs.
James (Sondra) Gingerich of Deer Creek; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Clyde Deushane and LeRoy Deushane, both of Canton.
She was a member of Roland Manor Baptist Church in ~Sunnyland.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria, where visitation will be one hour before services. The Rev.
John Warren will officiate. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
Memorials may be made to Maple Lawn Home in Eureka.
