Katherine Anglin, 62 of Woodway died Nov. 26, 2000. Graveside services were held Nov. 28 at Jonesboro Cemetery with the Rev. Tom Robbins and the Rev. Dr. Jack Kyle Daniels officiating. A memorial service was held at Austin Avenue United Methodist Church.
She was born May 17, 1938 in Hamilton and she graduated from Hico High School. She received her bachelor's degree from Tarleton State University and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Texas.
Mrs. Anglin worked for the Department of Human Services for 12 years and was employed as community services administrator at Methodist Children’s Home for the past eleven years.
She was a member of Austin Avenue United Methodist Church and served as president of the Regional Welfare Board.
Survivors include her daughters, Katrina Allison and husband Kelly of San Marcos and Michelle Painter and husband Bobby of Odessa; her sons, Walter Glenn Anglin of Waco and Kevin Anglin and wife Karen of Brenham; her sister, Myrna Murphy and husband Pat of Richardson; eight grandchildren, Kameron and Kristi Allison, Avery and Joshua Painter, Nathan, Nabil, Jasmine and Austin Anglin.
Memorials may be made to the Methodist Children’s Home.
