Gerald Neil Mason was born 7 January 1920 in Olmsted County, MN, the second son of Roy Leslie Mason (1879-1935) and Martha Gilday Mason (1884-1953). He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was married to Lois B. Mason (1922-1995) in December 1945 in Minneapolis, MN. He died on 15 July 2005 in Georgetown, CA at the age of 85, and was interred at Green Valley Cemetery.
