Dorothy (Amos) Robertson, 85,a life long resident of Henryville, IN, passed away at 6:37 AM on Friday, May 16, 2014 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus in Scottsburg, IN.
Born on August 13, 1928 in Floyds Knobs, IN,she was the daughter of Kearny & Mageline (Reynolds) Amos who are both deceased.
She was a domestic engineer, a member of Henryville United Methodist Church where she attended all of her life and a 1946 Henryville High School Graduate.
In January of 1945, she married Marshall Robertson in Henryville, IN and he passed away on December 24, 1991.
Survivors include her children, a daughter, Brenda Smallwood of Henryville, IN,a son, Dale (Jeanette) Robertson of Henryville, IN, 5 grandchildren, Scotty Ashby of Riverview, FL, Amber Robertson of Scottsburg, IN, Brittany Robertson, Autumn Robertson, and Samantha Riley all of Henryville, IN, 1 great granddaughter, Breanna Lucas, and a companion, Bill Jordan of Sellersburg, IN.
A son, Robin Robertson, her husband Marshall, and a brother John Amos preceded her in death.
Rev. Gary Cooper will conduct Funeral services at noon on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Henryville United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
